Who this is for:
The TAE50122 – Diploma of Vocational Education and Training is for experienced VET professionals who would like to move into a more senior or leadership role in the VET Sector
There are 3 specialisations and depending on your chosen career path and eligibility you can enrol into one or more of the specialisations.
- Advanced Training and Assessment: For those delivering training and assessment services in the VET sector, promoting innovative practices, and leading other VET professionals.
- Design and Development : For those responsible for designing and developing training and assessment strategies, analysing training needs, and creating solutions to meet industry standards.
- VET Leadership : For those mentoring and leading VET professionals, ensuringquality and compliant operations within an RTO.

Entry Requirements:
The entry requirements for the TAE50122 - Diploma of VET include holding the TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessing, having preferably one year of experience working in an RTO, and having access to a diverse group of people to collaborate with in the workplace including leading and mentoring trainers and assessors in the workplace.

- TAE Trainer and Assessor*
*Note - the Standards for RTO’s 2015 require TAE Trainers and Assessors to hold the TAE Diploma or higher qualification. For those completing the TAE50122 Diploma of VET with the intention of teaching the TAE40122, we would recommend completing the Diploma of VET with the Advanced training and assessment specialisation.
