Every now and then, a Certificate IV TAE student writes a review that we believe really captures what Fortress Learning tries to do. Instead of them ending up hidden among the others, we will share them with you, and try to explain why we think they are so appropriate.
Learning as an adult is not easy, especially if you have a full-time job and a young family. With Fortress Learning it never felt too pressured because you are free to learn whenever you got the time and the mind for it. The feedback is motivating and keeps you going. Overall a great experience.
Bernhard makes an excellent point – learning as an adult is not easy. As adults, life is often universes away from our younger years, when school was our main To-Do for the day – and we could go about this business of schooling without too many other things getting in our way.
But, as a grown-up, this way of learning seems so luxurious.. almost indulgent. As a grown-up, your learning time and method need to fit with the rest of your life.
And the truth is – a rigid routine does not always work…. Life cannot be planned to happen in a specific way.
This is where the independent and flexible nature of Fortress’ online delivery is so valued. We understand about families and kids and work and finances and extra-curricular activities and illnesses and celebrations and IT debacles and Game of Thrones addiction…
The only due date is your expiry date… But don’t worry – we don’t leave you to fend for yourself all on your little lonesome. We’ll reach out to see how we can support you and we’ll provide you guidance on how you might manage your time and what your best options are.
At Fortress, you’re more than just an ‘Enrolment’ or a ‘Student’; you’re a Human, and a unique one – and that is how we treat you.
