The new TAE50122 Diploma is not equivalent to the old TAE Diplomas (TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design Development). The units and outcomes have undergone significant changes.
There are now several entry requirements, including holding the TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessing, having preferably one year of experience working in an RTO, and having access to a diverse group of people to collaborate with in the workplace and to lead and mentor in training and assessment. .
